DLG SHAPE successfully delivered a complete internal fit‑out for a Government Agency in Darwin City, creating a high‑quality, contemporary workplace tailored to the client’s operational needs. Delivered in close coordination with nominated trades and consultants, the scope included new and modified ceilings, partitions, doors and finishes, along with joinery, floor finishes, furniture, signage and branding. Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire services were carefully adjusted and expanded to suit the new layout, with all systems fully tested and commissioned to meet both client and landlord requirements. Specialist ICT, AV and security works were seamlessly integrated, ensuring the space was fully operational at handover. The project was delivered in a live, highly constrained environment. Constructed within an operational office floor shared with another tenant and located directly above a busy café, the works required exceptional planning, clear stakeholder communication and innovative staging. Noise‑sensitive activities were programmed for early mornings to allow uninterrupted business operations below, while smart separation of construction and occupied.
