Project Summary
Griffith University engaged SHAPE to remove existing non-compliant cladding and install new cladding in line with the current building code at their Gold Coast and Northern campuses.
The Gold Coast Campus works included the removal of existing cladding & installation of new cladding to Building G39 and Building G40 as well as removal of existing louvres & installation of new louvres to Building G24 and Building G25.
The Northern Campus works across Brisbane included cladding replacement on the Nathan Sports Centre Building N36, Griffith Southbank Graduate Centre Building S07, Mount Gravatt Social Sciences Building M10 and the Mount Gravatt International Building M14.
All works were completed while the university was operational. Therefore, minimal disruption to university students and visitors was of utmost importance during these works. This was particularly critical working around exam schedules.
“The team always went above and beyond to ensure that the project was completed on time. What really impressed me was their ability to adapt to changing requirements and provide creative solutions to complex problems. I highly recommend DLG SHAPE and all members of the project team to anyone looking for excellent results and a seamless experience.”
