Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) engaged DLG SHAPE to deliver its new Sydney office that encourages agile and flexible working and allows for the organisation’s future growth.
Working with the designers, DLG SHAPE delivered a project that is symbolic of IBA’s vision of being an Indigenous business, culturally supportive, increasing connection and supporting their brand identity. Colours, textures and finishes were thoughtfully selected to make reference to Indigenous history, particularly in Sydney and Goulbourn (as the office is located on Goulbourn Street).
The whole floor fitout included a mix of collaboration spaces, meeting and board rooms, sit-to-stand motorised workstations for all staff, plus quiet focus spaces to support different working requirements. Another key feature was the customer hub that also functions as a hot desk or meeting space for IBA clients to utilise. The scope of work also included kitchen and services upgrade.
